FRENCH NATIONAL PAVILION IS BACK

The French cycle industry has always shown its creativity, innovative spirit and solid know-how. Today, French companies are trendsetters in a great variety of innovative products and bike-building technologies: bikes, wheels, tires, automatic pedals, lighting and pumps, bike-building machinery, and are equipping world’s leading brands. These French suppliers put continuous efforts to take up the challenge in the intensified global competition and to take further leap in their international expansion.
 
To showcase French talents, UBIFRANCE is again bringing its French Pavilion to the Taipei Show, presenting 13 exhibitors including Add One, BOS MTB, Corima, Cyfac, Spanninga, K-124, Look Cycle, Michelin, Stronglight, Velox, and Zefal. UBIFRANCE is also teaming up with French National Council of Cycle Professions (CNPC), in order to further gear up the presence of French cycle industry at this grand rendezvous of the international cycle industry.

THE FRENCH CYCLE INDUSTRY ON THE FRONT LINE

Every day, the French cycle industry proves its dynamism through an innovating approach.

Inheriting a tradition over a century old and thanks to the high quality level of its manufacturers and cycling champions, the French cycle industry is, for a very long-time, one of the world industrial cycle leaders.

It is not sufficiently widespread that the world leaders in carbon processing and manufacture of frames, wheels, tyres, automatic pedals, lamps and air pump are French.

This know-how and the respect of the tradition materialize a permanent stream of new products, the development of high-tech industrial processes and a permanent settlement of the French cycle industrial actors on international markets.

The high level of competition in the world cycle industry creates a permanent challenge for the French cycle components manufacturers.

In 2012, French cycle industry is still an undisputable player in the world cycle market. French manufacturers are gathered in CNPC, whose main actions are to promote the French cycle industry and the development of bicycle use.

This year 2012 in cooperation with the French Trade Institute in Taipei and with the support of Ubifrance some of our active members, CORIMA, CYFAC, JOS INTENATIONAL, LOOK CYCLE, MICHELIN, PLANET FUN, VELOX, ZEFAL, present their new products on a French pavilion built for the second year at the Taipei International Cycle Show. The famous French cycle industrial companies HUTCHINSON and MAVIC, members of the French Cycle Manufacturers and Traders Council and regular exhibitors are also in the show.
